Message-ID: <1991Jun01.152251.16043@shl.com> Date: 1 Jun 91 15:22:51 GMT Organization: SHL Systemhouse Inc. Lines: 15 Just finished reading the May 1991 Byte article entitled 'Browsing Through Terabytes'. It mentioned a NISO standard protocol Z39.50 and the WAIS protocol developed by Thinking Machines, but doesn't give any obvious references as to where I can get more info on these protocols. Anyone have any idea where I can get more info about them? Thanks. -- Phil Trubey | Internet: phil@shl.com SHL Systemhouse Inc. | UUCP: ...!uunet!shl!phil 50 O'Connor St., Suite 501 | Phone: 613-236-6604 x667 Ottawa, Ontario, Canada | Fax: 613-236-2043
