Is anyone has any network printing solution for IBM TCP/IP with MVS over Ethernet? I am tring to find a solution for MVS/CICS printing over the campus network. Currently, all the CICS printers have to attach to the IBM7171 box. All the MVS/CICS users are using the TN3270 on a PC with ethernet interface to communicate with the Mainframe. However, we would like to bring the CICS printer closer to them. Maybe through lpr/lpd if there is a way on the IBM TCP/IP for MVS. I would like to know all your suggestions.
