I did not have the mib in front of me. According to RFC1156 - MIB I, sysDescr = { system 1 } sysObjectId = { system 2 } sysUpTime = { system 3 } Therefore getnext sysDescr.0 returns sysObjectId.0 = ...... getnext sysObjectId.0 returns sysUpTime.0 = 12345 because of the lexicographical orderings.
