They set the clock once and then exited. Is that what is supposed to happen? I have "peer umd1.umd.edu" in my /etc/ntp.conf file. How do I keep ntpd running permanantly on one of my machines? That way my remaining machines can sync off that one which can in turn sync off umd1.umd.edu. Thanks Ravi Kolagotla
