On the surface it seems real nice however the ratio of students to computers went from 1:1 to 2:1. The computers will be auctioned off at $10 per palate. I don't know how many computers you can get on a palate but I estimate it to be 30. They'd have to mail them to California to get them fixed but it seems to me like a way to get emerging nations into computing at a low price. I plan to buy at least one palate and give them to a community program that has no computers.
