i am looking for source to an fd driver which i can hack on.

i looked at devfd.cpio from the archives, but that is just an attachment to
the existing driver.

i am looking for a complete implementation.

any pointers to existing source or other reference materials much appreciated.

also, a list of kernel variables would be handy as well.
