My wife has fallen in love with the Mac's she uses at work.  So, we are giving
some thought to getting AMAX for our Amiga 2000.  My questions are as follows:

1) I recall hearing some time back that the MAC ROMS were no longer going to
be available to non-MAC owners.  Is this the case?  If so, is AMAX a viable
product any longer?

2) How much should I expect to spend on AMAX and the Mac ROMS?  And where
should I order them from?  (Any suggestions would be helpful.)

3) How well does the AMAX emulate a Mac?  

4) Do I need to get a Mac compatible eternal drive?

5) Can I use my hard drive with AMAX?

I apologize if these questions have been asked a million times, but I haven't
been following this newsgroup.  If there are questions that I should be
asking but haven't asked, please answer them as well.  I'd appreciate any
and all information on AMAX.  email may be best as I'd guess that the
regular readers of this newsgroup already know all the answers.
