Well, I normally use the car with the digital dashboard (Penske/Chevrolet, I think?), and basically leave it as it is in the default, except for the following: a) When qualifying, I always lower the gas in my tank to 10 gallons. b) I REALLY use as little of the wings as possible and decrease my drag to very little. It makes the car quite hard to handle, but for qualifying, it's only 4 laps, and I usually set it back up to more drag for racing. c) When qualifying use boost 9 (of course) d) Sometimes I'lll lower my gear ratio down from the set with 10.00 on the first gear to 9.76 on my first gear. With these modifications, I've attained speeds of 242, and qualification times of 229 (I think I made it above 230 once).
