Again, please reply by mail, since I am NOT on this list. My friend took his A500 apart, and now I can tell you exactly what he has. He has the 'regular' Fat Agnus which is number 8370. The board is Revision 5. Various people replied and cleared up that there are actually 'Fatter' Agnuses that are needed to get the full 1 meg of chip RAM (with his 512K expansion). One person, however, wrote and explained a procedure to get 1 meg via a switch on JP2. Well, he said you needed Revision 6 of the board, which my friend does not have. Is there yet ANY way for him to get a full 1 meg of chip RAM on his A500, or is he SOL? BTW, he did find JP2, but I suspect that it does not matter unless you have the right board?
