A recent conversation with Andy Nicholas (author of ShrinkIt!) leads me to believe that this is one of the features he is working on supporting in his next major upgrade of ShrinkIt! Unfortunately, (or perhaps fortunately!) he is busy right now ironing out the final bugs of System 6.0 for Apple and hasn't had much time to spend with ShrinkIt! (Correct me if I'm wrong, Andy!) Hopefully, he will have time at a later date. You should always use BINARY when ftp'ing programs. In this case, I don't _believe_ it makes a difference. BINARY turns on the high bit send, which I don't think makes a difference in the case of Apple II programs, but better safe than sorry. Kudos to Columns GS! I use it to prove some of the superior capabilties of the GS to my think-they-have-better-computers friends. It's VERY addictive, and I like the ability to change the basic blocks to whatever patterns I wish. If you don't have Columns, GET IT! By the way, I tried to send you mail earlier, but it didn't get through. Could you send me your BITNET address via Email? Send it to kenfair@owlnet.rice.edu. Mr Toaster -- Kenneth J.
