Funny, I don't recall this conversation, although I talk to enough people in a week's time that I could have said almost anything... :-) >Unfortunately, (or perhaps fortunately!) he is busy right >now ironing out the final bugs of System 6.0 for Apple and hasn't had >much time to spend with ShrinkIt! (Correct me if I'm wrong, Andy!) Huh? I think you are drawing inferences that aren't correct -- I work on the Finder, not anywhere else in Apple IIGS System Software. The Finder, and only the Finder (and believe me, it's more than enough! ;-) > Hrrrmmmph. Oops. GSHK does support .Z compression. >Sorry, Andy. It's _StuffIt_ compression he doesn't have installed yet. >My fault. I have no plans to add StuffIt compression to GS-ShrinkIt. GS-ShrinkIt already DECOMPRESSES StuffIt 1.5.1 files, and I have written to Aladdin yet again asking for information on how to decode StuffIt Classic v1.6 and StuffIt Deluxe files (which they will probably turn down.. again). I may have said something about wanting to add PKZIP decompression along with LZH decompression. andy -- Andy Nicholas GEnie & America-Online: shrinkit Apple IIGS System Software CompuServe: 70771,2615 Apple Computer, Inc.
