I, too, was getting pissed off by the loud fan. I open it and noticed that the hand was not bolted to anything but it just sits into a slot. I then put some blue-tac so that it will stick to one of the side walls to stop it vibrating against the surrounding wall or stop it jumping around in its slot. I was quite amaze as to the amount of noise being removed. I have not seen the inside of a megafile 30, but I assume that it would be the same.
