I am running BIOS 1.074 with the UPDATE1.07 patch (available in the support area of atari.archive.umich.edu:/atari/portfolio). I keep all my binaries in C:\bin, and "path c:\bin" is the first command in my autoexec.bat file. I have XTERM2.COM in bin, and normally, when I type it, it executes just fine. If, however, I change directories to c:\bin, and then try and execute XTERM2, I get an "exec error". After this first exec error, every attempt to execute XTERM2 afterwards, regardless from where, gets an exec error. Hmmmm. Secondly, I remember reading a while ago that someone here had heard a rumor of 1 Meg memory cards for the Portfolio. Has anyone heard anything more about this or seen any ads or addresses? Finally, I've noticed a couple of request lately about comp.sys.handhelds archives. I'm hoping that such a thing exists, and that these people got answers in email. If you know of one, please post! -Dan Mosedale dmose@bright.math.uoregon.edu
