Lines: 15 We are investigating getting bootpd running on our HP 9000/825 so we can use bootp on our workstations running NCSA Telnet to generate IP addresses for each PC. We have the Berkeley bootp 2.0 source and HP ARPA Services. There are lots of undefined variables arising from the make. Questions : 1. Has anyone got the PD version bootpd going on 9k ? 2. Has HP a bootpd product or equivalent ? 3. Is there a better/easier way to get IP addresses for workstations on the 9k, than the workstation using bootp ? Any help/advice appreciated - mail directly to me if possible. barry@giaea.oz.au
