I also have a suggestion for anyone who happens to got this problem. If you can't solve it in a short time and still want to install some software, you may change BUFFERS parameter in CONFIG.SYS to 1 and then install the software you want. (this keep only 1 DOS buffer available, so DOS has to reread diretory information every time). For some software installation, it may not be ok, e.g. Window SDK. However, most of them can be ok! Just a suggestion -Scott Chu P.S. I still not fix the problem with my driver. though I know how to adjust jumper but I don't know which position is jumper 1 on my CHINCO floppy disk driver, DOES ANY ONE KNOW CHINCO driver's jumper?
