But unzip (at least) does exist for Unix courtesy of the Info-ZIP project - I use it on my machine regularly. Try wuarchive.wustl.edu in mirrors/unix-c or something like that for the package unzip41.tar-z. From comments in the unzip package, it looks like there is (or soon will be) a zip program. I have had zero problems bringing stuff from my 386 at home and unzipping it on the sun4's we have at work.
