It is a true V.32 carrier capable modem. I might add, that after using one for debuging purposes here at ICE, I can honestly say the modem is a good value. It works, has a decent box, easy to setup, and it is affordable. Technical support certainly seemed above par, and when one of our customers had a problem using their modem with our software, PP had a modem sent to us immediately so that we could debug the problem here on site!
