I have an Amiga 2000. The rough draft of my novel is on the Amiga in WordPerfect. I find the output of the Microsoft Word program is of higher quality. The formatting tools and general creative environment of the program are better in Microsoft Word. I have uploaded the first 4 chapters onto an accomodating bbs and then down loaded the chapters to the Mac, but this was tedious and time consuming. What I would like to know is whether simply plugging the normal Mac modem cable output connector into the serial port of the Amiga, setting both computers up in a VT emulation, and then using the Kermit 'get' command will work. Or do I have to buy a null modem cable or manufacture an adapter? Thanks in advance. =============================================================================== Paul White My employer and I rarely share opinions plw@rayssdb ===============================================================================
