Need advice. Message-ID: <1991Jun4.174614.1@gsbacd.uchicago.edu> Date: 4 Jun 91 23:46:14 GMT Sender: news@midway.uchicago.edu (NewsMistress) Lines: 19 I was trying to do some profiling with THINK C 4.0.5 under Sys 7 today. I installed the proper libraries I belive (profile, ANSI) and did InitProfile() and DumpProfile(), but during writing out the profile information, it kept crashing with the TMON error message: "Writing supervisor byte at xxxxx" (or something like that, with xxxxx being an address). Anybody have any idea what's going on? I got the THINK 4.0.5 updater, but I noticed no new ANSI or profile libs. I'm running w/o VM or 32 bit on a Mac II (w/PMMU). I'd really like to get the profiling going (our client wants the code speeded up), so any help much appreciated!
