Why is the word "Dismount" an intuitive way of describing the desired action? It's a computer jargon word that normal users are unlikely to know, whereas "Put Away" makes a lot of sense to describe the desired result (or is removal from the computer not in fact the first step in the process of putting away a piece of ejectable media?). I think the Finder designers made the correct choice.
