A System 6.0.7 question instead of Sys 7!! Situation: Mac IIsi, 5 M RAM, HD running Silverlining 5.27/11 Running Desktop Manager under System6 partition. (Not DTM Init under Sys7) Question: I have the drive partitioned into about 7 volumes: Sys6, Sys7, Appl, Files, New, GameDisk, NoBackup. Under 6.07, I can mount five of the volumes, but attempts to mount the sixth result in: "Not enough memory for Finder to work with this volume" and it does not mount. Now finder defaults to 160K. Mine was set at 300K. I uped it to 350K. It still would not work with the sixth volume. It has no problem mounting all seven volumes under System 7. So what am I doing wrong? Should I increase memory allocation to the desktop manager init? Is that possible? Please email replies as this is rather a basic question. Write to me if you want the answer. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- J. D.
