Software Anyway, you need Japanese version of MacOS, because Mac should have the ability to display, manipulate Japanese Kanji characters as well as roman character. This input system is an alternative of "Key board", not for OS itself. This was demonstrated in MacWorld Tokyo by Scully and Apple's booth.
