Fire up Preferences and look in the section with the picture of a menu. Check out the right side, labeled Keyboard Alternatives. I guess I knew about this since I got 2.0, but never really thought to *do* anything with it until this discussion came up. I just set cmd-Q to be quit *in all apps* on my machine.
