On the front page and on page 7 is a long article on the NeXT.  The
article is called, "Software Meeting Chock Full of Surprises - The
NeXT surprise shocked many people in many ways.  Kudos for object tech."

It is a friendly article.  Here's an excerpt:

     "Jobs was right.  A captivated audience watched with amazement
     for over an hour as Vais demonstrated the capabilities of NeXT's
     Cadillac version of the NeXTstep computing interactive windowing
     environment. He showed that 1990s computing style had arrived in
     Redwood City, CA -- interoperability and portability were
     evident almost from the word go."
