This almost isn't funny - the NeXT, as any large programming project (ie, X11, Unix, etc) has loads of places where I'd really like to go in and fix things when they break . . . but I can't because the system is "Programmer Stupid". [ When the Mac came out, the term was "User Stupid" - a novice could use most programs just as well as an expert. On the one hand, that could be blamed on the ease of use.
