We also have the HP PostScript cartridge. Following the instructions from Sun for a 'normal serial printer' doesn't seem to work...i.e. the printer just doesn't fire...Yes, we have installed the proper files on the Sun (printcap and ttytab)...we have also tried sending stuff directly though the serial line (not using lpr). There is just some sort of *physical* problem here. Any ideas? We are running it at 9600 baud - if that is of any help. Please responde through email. I can post a summary if anyone is interested.
