The problem is intermittent and causes the SCSI bus to hang, requiring a reboot. It happens the second time a platter is unmounted; the umount command never comes back. The platter can be ejected, however. Delta Micro claimed it had something to do with "asynchronous SCSI" and sent a patch tape. This did not solve the problem. Have you heard of anyone else with this stupidity? Michael Blane
