When somebody tries to log into an IPC here (4.1.1 yp client) the following
message appears

clntudp_create RPC: program not registered
Login incorrect

The yp server is a Sun 4/280 running 4.0.3

This problem only occurs if the users are not in the password file - ie the
client has to get the user info from the server.  Root can log in as normal
and can su to other users.  But users can't su or telnet or log in at the
console.  They can rlogin from the yp server though.  Any ideas?
