	I have a modem problem:

		I have installed a modem according to the instructions in the system
	administrators/networking guide and it works fine as long as I do not turn
	the ttytab entry on.  When I do, the system reboots with an
        assertion failed vp->v_stream==stp  ../../os/str_io.c line 609 error.

		I have followed the instructions to the letter and have
	created a pseudo device cua0 and added the necessary entries in the
	ttytab and remote files.

		This problem happens no matter which serial port I use including
	the ttya, ttyb and any port on the ALM-2 board.

		Has anyone seen this problem before?
		Does anyone have a solution?
