It didn't generate any error during compilation, I installed it properly and without problems, but it doesn't work... After starting X I get the following error: sunOpenFrameBuffer: inappropriate ioctl on device. The "inappropriate ioctl" seems to be a FBIOGTYPE called on the file /dev/fb by the function sunOpenFrameBuffer in R4/mit/server/ddx/sun/sunInit.c . I made also the following devices: /dev/bwtwo0 /dev/bwone0 and tried to make X go with them, but unsuccessfully. Have you any idea about what happened? I compiled X11R4 on a SPARCstation 2 and I hadn't any problem. Thanks in advance, Roberto Totaro P.S.
