I got lot's of documents made with Mac's PageMaker (using both versions 3.0 and 4.0) and I'd like to transfer them to FrameMaker (ultimately to UNIX's FrameMaker, but I got Frame for the Mac, too). Unfortunately these two programs definitely refuse to talk to each other so that the other could understand it. About the only way I managed to get information across was when I openend both PageMaker and FrameMaker in the Mac's Multi Finder and used Mac's clipboard to cut-and-paste from PageMaker to Frame. There are two problems with this. First, I lose all text formatting and must remake the layout in Frame. Secondly the workload is absolutely staggering. (I simply refuse to make it like this if there is a better, FASTER way to do it). So, if there is someone, who has already solved this wee problem I'd very much like to hear about it. Either e-mail me (preferably) or post the solution here for all people to see (this is also fine by me :-) ) Heikki Karhunen /-----------------------------+-------------------------------------------\ | hkarhune@kruuna.helsinki.fi | There is always a job for a theoretical | | hkarhune@hes-fi.kone.com | physicist -- at least in theory there is. | \-----------------------------+-------------------------------------------/
