I think it is hopeless to try downloading these *.sit files. The original *.hqx files can be downloaded form midway.uchicago.edu; althought I believe bibtex.hqx is on ymir.claremont.edu. I uploaded the macmakeindex.hqx to the ymir ftp machine, but I don't know if Don Hosek moved it into the proper directory. The *.hqx files are ASCII translations of the binary *.sit files. Use StuffIt to De-BinHex the *.hqx files into *.sit files and then StuffIt again to go from *.sit to double-clickable applications. --Len Schwer schwer@unix.sri.com
