Keywords: Ultrix, DOS, floppy, DECstation Message-ID: <2334@raybed2.msd.ray.com> Date: 3 Jun 91 20:20:31 GMT Followup-To: comp.sys.ibm.pc.misc Organization: Raytheon Co., Tewksbury, Mass. Lines: 22 We have a bunch of DECstation and VAXstation platforms running ULTRIX that are equipped with 3.5" floppy drives. We would like to find some software that would allow us to Read/Write DOS-compatible disks. We have SoftPC for evaluation but it's pretty slow on disk operations and ideally we'd like something in the public domain (i.e. FREE ;^) ). Does such an animal exist or are we stuck with SoftPC? If it does exist, where is it and/or how can I get it? If there are commercial alternatives to SoftPC, I'd be interested in investigating them as well.
