I was considering using a Canon MOD 5001S read/write optical drive (SCSI), 
for secondary storage, on a 486/SCO Unix system I was building.

Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with this drive, and/or this
type of configuration?  I don't read all the above groups, so please
reply by email and I'll summarise.
