I am pretty sure that I have xdm configured reasonably as it runs two X terminals OK. When I run xdm nothing happens on the local console at all. The entry in the Xservers file is something like (going from memory as it is on another machine), :0 Local local /usr/bin/Xtm2d :0. Are there any magic tricks? Does it matter what is in the "class" field? Another problem, possibly related: xdm core dumps if I send it a SIGHUP. It is supposed to re-read the config and server files.
