Well, here's the good news - newwave install is actually looking for three of the files associated with windows: winhelp.exe, win.com, and system.ini. I bet you don't have a winhelp.exe in your windows directory - who knew? I gathered this by poking around on the first disk of the newwave set with a hacker friend... (wolf@netcom.com)...by poking into the install\labels.txt and looking in the install\newwave.txt files it just looks like these are the first things install looks for. Give that a try, and if that fails, give another call here! Miles
