All of our files and work are on a Unix machine. Therefore, we telnet to our unix machine to do our work. The only reason we use the VMS vax machine is to boot up our Xterminal. The Unix machine is running Ultrix 4.1 os and X11R3. When we try to run some of the Xutilities such as xclock, xcalc, twm, etc.. and to display it to our xterminal we receive errors such ass Xcalc: could not open the following fonts: -*-lucida-medium-r-*-*-12-* and these fonts are on our unix machine under usr/lib/X11/fonts/ In order to get twm running we stop the dxwm from the VMS machine, and run twm from our unix machine. It runs but does not allocate the correct fonts which specified in the .twmrc file. This is the connection: X-terminail -->VMS(telnet) -->Unix(dec 5810) Any pointers or suggestions are welcome Thanks you in advance, your help are greatly appreciated. -- _---_ Steve / o o \ hsteve@hydra.unm.edu, hsteve@carina.edu | \___/ | Just say NO to VMS!!
