Simple setup:

     /usr/X11/bin/*
     /usr/X11/include/*
     /usr/X11/lib/*

     /usr/bin/X11     -> /usr/X11/bin
     /usr/include/X11 -> /usr/X11/include
     /usr/lib/X11     -> /usr/X11/lib

Agree; everything under ONE tree is nice.   Also agree that the other path
names can't just be blown away.
