X11R4 binaries, libraries and the patches used to compile them (client side only, no server code) under IRIX 3.3 are available by anonymous ftp to fresnel.stanford.edu. Look in pub/4DX. R4 clients can also be found on the standard IRIX 3.3 distribution tapes along with the server. However, they are not installed by default. You need to run a manual install to get them. Libraries are also available from SGI on a separate X Developers tape.
