I too wear it all the time; I even wore it into surgery! As far as losing effectiveness goes, my understanding is that the nerves become overstimulated and thus desensitized. I turn mine off for an hour every 4 hours (if I can stand to) and that seems to revitalize the effect. Max Vasilatos max@athena.mit.edu
