My neighbor has MS and I mentioned your post about your friend. She told me the following: The tests you mentioned would not cause your friend to have the problems she is now experiencing. If she had the ENG or the ENP, which involve water in the ears, then she could experience the worsening of the symptoms as you have described. The EMG or the other tests you mentioned are using electrodes on the head and looking at moving dots and/or hearing snapping sounds. That will not cause the exacerbation. The only other explanation is that she is having a flare (attack) of the MS at this time and it is coincidental with just having had the tests.
