Indeed. However, anyone who wants to get a feed of alt.sex.pictures can do so. I CANNOT get a complete newsfeed which includes the C News-deleted articles even if I want to. That's the crucial difference. There are other differences, too; for example, the readers of Usenet know if an entire newsgroup is being chopped. They don't know if random articles are being chopped.
