Sci., Urbana, IL Lines: 23 Approved: aem@mthvax.cs.miami.edu 2 cups Flour Bake 375 degrees for approx. 50min. 1/2 cup Butter or Margarine 1 1/3cup Sugar 1/2 cup Buttermilk (This is important) 1 cup Bananas (Mashed) 2 Eggs 1 tsp Baking Powder 1 tsp Baking Soda 1 tsp Vanilla 1/2 cup Nuts (Opt) Salt (I don't use very much - 1/2t) Cream butter and sugar then add eggs, buttermilk, add flour with BP,BS, salt. Add rest of ingredients... I have thrown the whole mess together and it still comes out good. This is probably one of the best quick breads that I have ever made. I also have used apples for the bananas and it is good that way. It's just a good basic quick bread recipe. I can't remember if this makes two loaves or one. I usually use the little bread pans and it makes several of those. It freezes very well. Enjoy!!!! Bon apetit
