Electrical Engineering, Edinburgh University, Scotland, UK. Lines: 11 Prof. Peter Denyer and colleagues at Edinburgh University have demonstrated quality imaging on an industry-standard 2-metal CMOS process. They have combined a robust 90,000-pixel sensor array with all analog & digital support circuits to create an autoexposing 625-line 50Hz standard monochrome camera - +5v and 12MHz in, video out. A commercial arrangement for this device will be announced shortly - it isn't appropriate to discuss pricing on the news net.
