I was planning to get a replacement for it, but I had noticed that it and its companion the R5310-18 are *heating* up beyond what I would think is a good idea I have also been having flaky problems with the modem that seem to be heat related (i.e. garbage and disconnects when the modem has been running for a while and seems good and hot) So, my question: Is there a better, yet plug compatible version of this chipset, that will not heat up as much, and give me trouble? The modem was bought with price in mind, so I would not be surprised if substandard parts were used. :-) Please respond via email, and thanks alot in advance... me305scc@sail.uwaterloo.ca (David Cattran) -- David A Cattran | Are you the kind of woman who takes advice? me305scc@sail.uwaterloo.ca | - Highlander Compuserve: 71641,67 | dacattran@mechanical.watstar.uwaterloo.ca
