What interface? Summary: got a weird drive... Message-ID: <135847@unix.cis.pitt.edu> Date: 4 Jun 91 16:39:16 GMT Followup-To: sci.electronics Distribution: usa Organization: The Last Jedi Lines: 32 Greetings. First, thank you to all the people who replied to my SONY VideoCorder question. I might be able to tame the outputs :-) Second, I have an HP hard drive, 3+1/2" HH, that has a "weird" interface. It has a 40-pin header and 4 small pins that I assume are for power (though tracing the pins on the board did not lead to the obvious places (caps, etc)) The number is: 97500-85620 but I have no way of finding out what this is around here. Also, sorry for so many questions, anyone know the answer to the following 3 questions? 1) Where can I get a pen for a PENPAD M200 tablet? 2) Does the thing take a composite monitor (everything works except the top 2 lines which are scrambled) 3) Where can I get a biasing magnet? Can I take those magetic strips that can be found in a fridge door and just use a bunch of them or do I need _the_ offical magnet? I will summarize and repost in a week or so. Take care. -- _______________________________________________________________________________ "The Force will be with you, always."
