A fairly routine article on Virtual Reality, by Gene Bylinksy, appeared in
the June 3, 1991, issue of FORTUNE magazine.  While ordinary in itself, the
appearance of this article in one of the main magazines of American commerce
surely signals something.  Now, what is it?
