Lines: 20 I have been told that research has gone into simulating the vocal tract for better than phoneme based voice synthesis. I would be grateful for references to any papers on the subject. I would have thought that this sort of research would have been able to produce a much more complex (and correct) set of phonemes. These would include transitional, additional and sequential phonems that match the movements of the tongue etc.But I know nothing of this subject, so i'm probably wrong!
