Comments, improvements, and general feedback are highly welcome; I am planning to do some more work on builder Real Soon Now. What is builder? Well, let's shamelessly quote from the documentation: Builder is a program designed to let you write up an area in an off-MUD, conveniently editable file or file(s), and then transform it into a series of MUD commands to create or describe the area. Builder allows you to use multiple files with multi-line strings, comments, variable defenitions, and other time-saving features. Builder's input is in fact a dinky little language. By splitting up your area definition into two or more files you can a) keep it more managable and b) keep it MUD-to-MUD portable by isolating all the explicit object numbers in one file. -- "The WYSIWYG editors are easier to remember, primarily because they don't do anything." - daniel mocsny, talking about editor user interfaces cks@hawkwind.utcs.toronto.edu ...!{utgpu,utzoo,watmath}!utgpu!cks -- comp.archives file verification ftp.white.toronto.edu -r--r--r-- 1 root 0 54096 Jun 4 22:37 /pub/muds/builder/builder0.9.shar found mud-builder ok ftp.white.toronto.edu:/pub/muds/builder/builder0.9.shar
