We did run the current version of Ingres (6.3) on a snake box without problems although there are known bugs. Ingres 6.4 is suppose to validated on HPUX 8.0. Performance ... didn't test it. We didn't have a drive for the snake box so all I/O was over NFS (not a fair test.) Steve Anastasi 3M
